- Abstract
The article presents information about the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs in Lagos, Nigeria. The institute is an independent, non-political and non-profit-making organization meant for the promotion of the study of international questions and of understanding among the peoples of the world through research, lectures, seminars and exchanges of information with institutes of learning in Nigeria. The program of the institute encompasses inter-disciplinary research, symposia and lectures and the publications of monographs and surveys with an emphasis on African affairs. The institute hopes to be not merely a domestic platform of information and research on international affairs, but a continental center to which individual scholars and similarly oriented institutes may turn for assistance.
