- Abstract
The article examines research conducted on changes within the radio broadcasting industry in Spain. It analyzes changes that encompass social, technological and economic areas as well as spatial geographical impact. It focuses the strategic and commercial aspects of radio broadcasting within the country as well as the impact of digital radio and the Internet on the industry. The article explores four specific topics within radio broadcasting research: audience, advertising, technological innovation and network ownership.
