DESARROLLO DE SENSORES BASADOS EN REDES ORGÁNICAS COVALENTES Y REDES METAL-ORGÁNICAS PARA LA DETECCIÓN DE AMONIACO Y DE AMINAS DE BAJO PESO MOLECULAR.

- Abstract
Este trabajo presenta el desarrollo de quimiosensores resistivos, basados en redes orgánicas covalentes (COF, por sus siglas en ingles) y en redes metal-orgánicas (MOF), para detectar amoniaco y aminas de bajo peso molecular. Estos materiales se depositaron sobre electrodos interdigitados de oro (IDE) y su comportamiento frente a las substancias mencionadas se caracterizó mediante espectroscopía de impedancia electroquímica (EIS). De los múltiples compuestos sintetizados, dos COF (TFP-BZ y TFP-DMBZ) y un MOF (fcu-NDCY) presentaron respuesta a la presencia y a los cambios en la concentración de amoniaco y/o aminas orgánicas de bajo peso molecular, en mezclas con nitrógeno gaseoso. Los cambios de impedancia de las películas de MOF y COF depositadas sobre los IDE se evaluaron a una frecuencia de 10Hz, seleccionada luego de la caracterización completa de los espectros de EIS. La relación entre la señal de respuesta y la concentración de compuestos sensados es lineal solo en el rango de bajas concentraciones, más específicamente a valores por debajo de las 10ppm. Mostraré en esta presentación las diferentes estrategias seguidas para el desarrollo de los sensores y por qué nos decidimos finalmente por las mediciones de impedancia a una sola frecuencia, como herramienta para detectar y/o cuantificar amoniaco y aminas de bajo peso molecular en fase gaseosa.
