- Abstract
This article presents a case report of 37-year-old housewife suffering from dermatitis of the genitals. She had developed severe itching and burning, accompanied by hyperpyrexia. For three days she has been using vaginal ovules prescribed as an antibacterial and she had a history of metal intolerance. She was patch tested with standard series and an additional series of ovules and personal hygiene products. on patch testing, the subject showed positive reaction to nickel sulfate, ethylenediamine, fragrance mix and potassium dichromate.
