- Authors

- Abstract
Sensitization to epoxy resin can occur from sources as varied as the joining of telephone cables, glues, and gums, sealers, electron microscopes, plasticizers, the aeronautical industry, glass fiber, pacemakers, hemodialysis needles, paint and varnish sprays, nasal cannulas, insulin pumps etc. The article presents the occurence of occupational sensitization to newly introduced products in plumbing containing epoxy resins, as well as to a commonly used hardener such as diethylenetriamine, to which the patient was also sensitive.
