- Abstract
The article focuses on development of anemia with erythropoietin hyporesponsiveness and neutropenia in patients. Topics discussed include lower plasma zinc levels in children with chronic kidney disease (CKD), using additional zinc supplements in case of not developing signs of zinc deficiency, and cause of anemia in pediatric patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD).
