- Abstract
In this paper, to remove the stationary lag time which occurs between the discrete input signals in the constructed minimum-order observer, a first-order hold-type secondary flux state observer is used. First, we shall discuss the method for determining the pole locations of the secondary flux state observer used in the control of an induction motor and also describe the method for construction a stable state observer suitable for vector control. Then a secondary flux observer is actually constructed, and its stability and the accuracy of the estimated secondary flux are discussed using the experimental results.
