- Abstract
The article discusses the role of ASB6, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, in colorectal cancer (CRC). The study found that ASB6 is highly expressed in CRC tissues and is associated with worse disease-free interval, disease-specific survival, overall survival, and progression-free interval. ASB6 expression is positively correlated with lymph node invasion and distal metastasis. Additionally, ASB6 enhances the migration ability of CRC cells and is an independent prognostic factor for CRC. The study suggests that ASB6 may serve as a prognostic biomarker and potential therapeutic target for CRC patients.
