- Title
International Biological Program.
- Abstract
The article offers information on several international ongoing integrated research programs in biology. Aerobiology is a program which proposes to correlate ongoing research and promote new investigations in the atmospheric dispersal of troublesome biological materials like pollen and insects. Biogeography of the Sea program emphasizes the study of the physiological responses of marine and estuarine species to environmental factors through comparisons of populations from different geographical regions. Nutrition studies focus on human and animal nutrition and include investigations between nutrition and infection. In Phenology, scientists propose to investigate and describe seasonal development of organisms to understand, interpret, and predict biological events.
