- Abstract
The article presents the case study of a 17-year-old boy who was shot in the abdomen which led to a duodenal, small bowel, and hepatic flexure injury. The injury required pyloric exclusion, small bowel resection, gastrojejunostomy, and segmental colon resection. The patient was readmitted to the hospital six months after the incident due to trauma from gunshot wounds.
