- Abstract
This paper proposes a description and an analysis of Francesco Casetti's conception on cinematographic enunciation highlighting its forms and configurations. The importance of the Italian semiotician's view comes from the answers to the question like "Who speaks in the film" or "To whom the film addresses." The Benveniste's theory of enunciation and his distinction between discourse and narrative or Greimas's separation between énonciatif "enunciative" (the level of discourse) and énoncif "enuncive" (the level of narrative) help Casetti to formulate these answers and to create an original, accurate and complex view on cinematographic enunciation.
