- Abstract
The article offers news briefs related to health agencies. Regulations proposed by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) which allow certain health care workers to refuse to do abortions may become law in September 2008. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) received reports of patients getting sick who were taking the drug exenatide. People who died during the 1918-1919 influenza outbreak most likely died from secondary bacterial pneumonia.
