- Abstract
The article reports on a study which looked at whether adult weight change affected the risk of postmenopausal breast cancer. Researchers found that women who gained weight later in life, especially after menopause, had an increased risk of breast cancer. Weight loss after menopause was found to be associated with a decreased risk.
