- Abstract
The article focuses on cause-specific hazards analysis for a comprehensive interpretation of the effects of prone position on ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) incidence. Topics discussed include failure of Fine and Gray models to address etiological/causal questions, prone position increased the risk of VAP with a point-estimate difference, and assessing the impact of prone positioning in PROSEVA trial.
