- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 26-year-old woman suffering from osteomalacia (OM), a metabolic bone disease. The patient was misdiagnosed as suffering from spondyloarthritis (SpA) and was treated with anti-tumor necrosis factor (anti-TNF) agent, but she showed improvement only after receiving vitamin D and calcium. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the patient's hip showed pathological signal changes in her left sacroiliac joint.
