- Abstract
The article presents ideas on the use of specialized jargon in the medical field. It explores the application of medical metaphors revolving on the issue of considering the addition and construction of a wing to a certain health facility. It cites the use of medical terms by some specialists involved in the said initiative, such as the view of dermatologist citing that the proposal is a rash idea and the consideration of oncologist noting that the project is a cancerous growth for the hospital.
