- Abstract
The article reports on a study which investigates the anesthetic management of percutaneous closure of atrial septal defects (ASD). All the data including systolic pulmonary artery pressure, anesthesia time, incidence of need for surgery and the anesthetic drugs used were recorded. It concludes that general anesthesia is more safe method for the anesthetic management of percutaneous ASD closure.
