- Abstract
The article informs about the Respiratory tract inflammation in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is known to be driven by neutrophils, lymphocytes, and T-helper cell type 1 cells, whereas inflammation in asthma is primarily mediated by T-helper cell type 2 cells. It also mentions that transcriptomic profiles of eosinophils in patients with eosinophilic asthma showed differences compared with eosinophils from healthy subjects.
