- Abstract
In this study, we demonstrate a multiple-gaps resonator filter, consisting of a multilayer structure with a fractal metallic pattern, that can tune the resonant frequencies of the multiple gaps. It is found that the resonant frequency of the gaps shifts to low frequencies with the increase of fractal patterns dimension. The experimental observations are in good agreement with the simulated results using the finite difference time domain method. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
