- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a late-preterm male neonate who was diagnosed of periventricular leukomalacia. The neonate's antenatal ultrasonography (USG) of abdomen at 23 weeks of gestation revealed to be deficient in amniotic fluid. It further reveals a reduced fetal growth with disparity of 3 weeks. The article discusses periventricular leukomalacia, a brain injury characterized by damage and softening of brain tissue.
