- Abstract
The article discusses the problem for the research entitled "A Study of Two Levels of Bread Enrichment in Children's Diets." The investigation covers clinical and laboratory observation and tests made on institutional children who were fed enriched bread with a basic diet which approximately met or somewhat exceeded the U.S. National Research Council recommendations in all respects on a calculation basis, but which, in the opinion of the authors, was not entirely optimum in some respects. The diet pattern and nutritional status record of children in the study are summarized for a period of 32 months just preceding the study.
