- Title
re: Reliability of 3D Texture Analysis: A Multicenter MRI Study of the Brain.
- Authors

- Abstract
Quantitative imaging continues to play an increasingly important role in research aimed at developing a better understanding of the underlying pathology in many diseases. Unlike certain techniques that require specific imaging protocols, texture analysis is a general-purpose approach that can be used with practically any type of image. Texture analysis has been used to analyze magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data collected in numerous diseases, including multiple sclerosis,[1] Parkinson's disease,[2] and brain tumors,[3] among others.
