- Abstract
Contextualização: A análise do estado de desenvolvimento motor de crianças fornece informações valiosas para identificar déficits motores e ajudar profissionais a organizar adequadamente programas para melhorar a competência motora. Consequentemente, uma avaliação adequada do desenvolvimento motor infantil depende do uso de instrumentos válidos e confiáveis. Objetivo: Sendo o TGMD-2 um dos testes mais utilizados para avaliar o nível de competência de crianças nas habilidades motoras fundamentais, e sendo o salto horizontal uma dessas habilidades, o objetivo deste estudo foi investigar como a variação nos padrões do salto horizontal se relacionam com a distância final percorrida. Material e métodos: Participaram desse estudo 27 crianças (todos meninos) entre seis e sete anos de idade. As crianças foram instruídas a saltar o mais longe possível. Cada criança realizou dois saltos horizontais. Cada tentativa foi gravada com um celular iphone SE 2021, posicionado na lateral da criança. Para a classificação dos níveis desenvolvimentais foram seguidas as instruções do TGMD 2, sendo considerados quatro componentes do movimento: movimento preparatório com os joelhos, extensão dos braços, vôo e aterrisagem e movimento dos braços durante aterrisagem. A distância do salto horizontal foi aferida com uma trena Starret de 30 m por dois auxiliares que estavam no local no momento de execução. Foi correlacionada a média nas duas tentativas da pontuação do TGMD2 com a média nas duas tentativas da distância do salto. Resultados: A correlação (utilizando-se do coeficiente de correlação tau de Kendall) foi positiva, fraca e significativa (p =,010) entre o padrão de movimento e a distância do salto horizontal. Conclusão: Esse resultado indica que quanto melhor o padrão de movimento, melhor será a distância percorrida. no salto horizontal. Entretanto, dada a baixa magnitude, devemos entender quais outros fatores podem influenciar no resultado da ação (e.g., antropometria, geração de força, etc.).
