- Abstract
The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has altered all aspects of life in society. Higher education institutions needed to find ways to adapt to this new reality and, to this end, emergency remote teaching was implemented, a teaching modality in which all pedagogical activities were carried out remotely. This research was developed with the aim of analyzing the dynamics of implementing emergency remote teaching in the administration course from the perspective of members of the course's board, the department head and the university management. To achieve this objective, Situated Learning Theory and Transformative Learning Theory were used as theoretical approaches. A basic qualitative study was carried out, in which the subjects researched were the professors who were members of the administration course board, the head of the didactic-scientific department and the university management, in addition, documentary research was also carried out with the institutional documents that referred to the implementation of emergency remote teaching. From the results, it was observed how the entire process of implementing emergency remote teaching was organized in the studied institution, identifying how communication took place between everyone involved.
