- Abstract
The article presents the Practice Forum which provide a detailed account of one health system's efforts to incorporate behavioral health consultants (BHC) into existing primary care settings. It cites the primary role of BHC in helping patients make behavioral changes to improve their physical health and overall well-being. It cites behavioral health integration particularly the role of the BHC as an opportunity for social workers to respond to the call of serving vulnerable members of society.
