- Abstract
In diesem Artikel werden als dritte Etappe einer Revision der Großen Syntagmatik des Films von Chr. Metz die deskriptiven Syntagmen behandelt. Dazu wird in sich geschlossen auch ein Instrumentarium für die Analyse deskriptiver filmischer Repräsentationen entwickelt. Dies geschieht im Anschluss an die in dieser Zeitschrift im Band 25 (2002), pp. 64-94 und Band 27 (2004), pp. 95-123 erschienenen Artikel zur chronologischen Syntagmatik von Bewegtbilddaten (I) und (II). Insgesamt wird mit allen drei Artikeln eine Reformulierung aller chronologischen Syntagmen bei Metz geleistet. Deskription heißt hier im Ergebnis, dass ein diegetisches Raumzeitgebiet genauer ausgeleuchtet wird ohne einen “Fortschritt” in der diegetischen Zeit. Dies heißt insbesondere, dass es keinen Fortschritt einer Handlung gibt. Wir definieren mehrere basal deskriptive Syntagmen, untersuchen komplexe Kopräsenzen, behandeln Dramaturgien mit deskriptiven Syntagmen und schließlich ihre Limitationen.
