- Abstract
The article discusses the emergence of immune checkpoint inhibitors in anticancer therapy. It examines the effectives of the inhibitors in a Brca1-deficient tumor model that exhibited an increased somatic mutational load and greater numbers of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. It notes that dual checkpoint blockade with cisplatin attenuated the growth of Brca1-deficient tumors in vivo and improved survival.
