- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 10-year-old girl with severe swelling of the knees, ankles, elbows, wrists, hands, and feet interphalangeal (IPJ) joints. Topics include severe soft tissue edema with marked joint destruction and erosions on the radius, ulna, and carpal bones; and supporting the initial treatment of patients with high risk polyJIA with methotrexate, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and oral prednisolone.
