- Abstract
The article examines the effect of epoxy/nano-silica composites on curing kinetics, glass transition temperatures, dielectric, and thermal-mechanical performance. The activation energy for the epoxy curing reaction was determined. Differential scanning calorimetry and dynamic mechanical analysis determined glass transition temperatures. Nano-silica particle's influence on mechanical properties is also discussed in terms of non-notched charpy impact strength and flexural strength.
