- Abstract
The article presents a study on the impact of cell-adhesive-molecule-coated poly(lactide-co-glycolide) film on the cellular behaviors of Schwann cells and olfactory ensheathing cells. The researchers purchased PLGA from Boehringer Ingelheim Co. in Germany and bought polypeptides and cell-adhesive proteins like poly (L-lysine) PLL, poly(D-lysine) PDL and laminin (LM) from Sigma Co. in Missouri. They found that adhesive proteins and polypeptides like PLL and PDL influenced cell proliferation.
