- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 31-year-old woman, presented for headaches from one year and a history of intravenous drug use. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain and spine demonstrated basilar meningitis, which was treated with acetazolamide. She was further diagnosed with Candida albicans meningitis after the development of amenorrhea and gait, which was treated with oral fluconazole.
