- Abstract
The article focuses on the result of the study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the coverage of tetanus and pertussis vaccination in the U.S. The CDC analyzed data from the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) following the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to replace the decennial dose of tetanus diphtheria (Tdap) vaccine. It advises health personnel to give Tdap vaccination to adults aged 18-64 years.
