- Abstract
The article discusses the life and literary works of Québec anthropologist and mythographer Rémi Savard. The author talks about Savard's interest in the realities and rights of Canadian Indians such as the Innu and Inuit Indians, his anthropology studies in Paris, France, and some the articles and books he published such as the book "La Forêt vive." Topics of discussion include the theme of mythology, the relationship between the thoughts of Indians of North America and myths and symbols of the West. Also discussed is the book "Destins d’Amérique," which tells about his father who worked with the Indians during the summer.
