- Title
Fluid dynamics: To merge or not to merge ...

- Abstract
The article highlights the research conducted by W. D. Ristenpart which shows that two opposite charged drops bounce off each other and do not coalesce if their charge exceeds a threshold value. The study shows that non-coalescence behaviour occurs for clean water drops in silicone oil, brine drops in crude oil and vinegar drops in olive oil. The study emphasizes that threshold charge for non-coalescence increases for very low salt concentrations in water.
