- Abstract
The letter presents a medical case of treating patients suffering from cytomegalovirus DNA positive hypertensive iritis with intravitreal ganciclovir injections. The case of a 42-year-old presented with eye redness and pain is presented. The reccurence of symptoms is said to have initiated for an intravitreal ganciclovir injection to the patient which resulted positively. The letter says that this case proves that herpesviridae viruses play a significant role in Posner-Schlossman Syndrome (PSS).
