- Abstract
In this paper, the research progress and application of ozonation technology in hydrometallurgy of non-ferrous metals are reviewed, focusing on the fields of precious metals, heavy metals, rare metals, light metals, etc. Moreover, the mechanism of ozone oxidation on leaching of low-grade ores including gold and silver and refractory metal ores with high impurities such as sulfur, arsenic and carbon, oxidative precipitation of low-valent metal ions such as antimony, nickel and cobalt, and purification of solutions and removal of impurities such as iron and manganese are discussed in detail. In addition, the application prospects of ozonation technology in non-ferrous metal hydrometallurgy are forecasted.
