- Abstract
The article discusses issues in the juvenile justice system in Indiana, particularly the need to establish a statutory minimum age for juvenile delinquency adjudication. Also cited are the system's shift to a more punitive approach from being focused on care, protection and rehabilitation, and the proposed minimum age of 12 for adjudication, with the age lowered to 10 for sexual or violent crimes.
