- Abstract
The article discusses the options for addressing normal or abnormal data distribution. One option is the use of statistical tests not dependent on assumptions associated to data distribution including Spearman's rank correlation coefficient, Kaplan-Meier estimation, and McNemar's test. The transformation of numerical variable into another scale for assumption satisfaction is considered as the alternative to these tests.
