- Abstract
The article presents an abstract of the study "Neuron Death Following Metabolic Impairment: Contribution of Calpains and Caspases," which will be presented at the 30th annual meeting of the American Society for Neurochemistry, to be held from March 14-17, 1999 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Caspase inhibition prevents nuclear fragmentation and altered cellular morphology. Cell death appeared to be necrotic but occurred much more slowly.
