- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which examines independent association of job satisfaction with common cold and sickness absence among the Japanese. Studies indicate that there exists a relation between job satisfaction and health indicators but not clear with cold. It mentions that an inverse association between job satisfaction and sickness absence exists in western countries. It concludes that a reduced level of satisfaction is connected with the risk of being absent due to cold.
