- Abstract
The article offers information on the research study which determined the crystal structure of α-L-Arabinofuranosidase from hyperthermophilic bacterium Thermotoga maritima (Tm-AFase). It states that Tm-AFase, is a thermophilic enzyme that belongs to glycoside hydrolase family. It says that the subsite-1 of Tm-AFase is similar to AFase from Geobacillus stearothermophilus but its substrate binding pocket is much narrower and hydrophobic.
