- Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the function of the clock-associated transcriptional regulator circadian clock-associated 1 (CCA1) in the plant Arabidopsis thaliana. Researchers developed a transgenic plant to produce a dominant negative transcriptional repressor (CCA1-SRDX). It was found that the developmental morphology of adult CCA1-SRDX plants was quite different from that of CCA1 over-expressing (ox).
