- Title
GRIEVANCE MEDIATION UNDER COLLECTIVE BARGAINING.
- Authors
McPherson, William H.
- Abstract
Formal provision for employment of mediation in resolving grievances arising under collective agreements is relatively rare in the United States, according to this study, which analyzes experience with this device in a sample of companies where it has been utilized. The author suggests that more unions and employers should experiment with grievance mediation, which seemingly has been successful in the situations where it has been used.
