- Abstract
Among the causes of termination of the employment contract, Article 49.1.h) ET includes the case of force majeure. This is a particular case in which the causative event is not linked to any of the parties to the employment relationship, because it is due to a circumstance that is alien to both the employer and the worker. The force majeure does not entail the breach of its contractual obligations by any of the subjects, but, irremediably, it will lead to an extinctive outcome of the contract.
