- Abstract
Similar imaging modalities are also recommended to evaluate for signs of IOI in patients with diabetic macular edema pre-intravitreal injection and prior to the following injection. If a patient returns with symptoms of IOI or for their next scheduled injection, the same imaging modalities used preinjection should also be used to assess for IOI. Dear Editor, Anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapy has become the standard of care for the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) [[1]].
