- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 44-year-old man with psoriatic arthritis and skin involvement who was treated with etanercept with complete remission after one month of therapy. The patient developed facial noninfectious granulomatous nodules as the first manifestation of systemic sarcoidosis consecutive to treatment with etanercept. Histologic examination revealed negative results on bacterial, fungal cultures of skin samples and polymerase chain reaction for mycobacterium tuberculosis.
