The article presents the historical account of 1788 Treaty of Fort Harmar, signed between Indian tribes and white settlers in the U.S., which include 1786's council of Indian tribes presided by Mohawk chief Joseph Brant, establishment of Northwest Territory with Ordinance of 1787 and response governor of Northwest Territory Arthur St. Clair.
