- Abstract
The article presents a study which determined the optimal age for starting growth hormone (GH) therapy in children with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). PWS is a chromosomal disorder with physical growth failure of a child as physical manifestation. The study revealed that it is best to administer GH therapy to children suffering from PWS as early as possible as soon as the disorder is discovered.
