- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 70-year-old man with previous symptoms of chronic ataxic neuropathy, ophthalmoplegia, Immunoglobulin M (IgM) paraprotein, cold agglutinins and disialosyl antibodies (CANOMAD) syndrome. It notes that paraproteinaemic neuropathic patients are typically treated with intravenous immunoglobulin (ivIg) which reported to respond to the treatment. It states that rituximab, a monoclonal anti-body has been also frequently used for paraproteinaemic neuropathies.
