- Abstract
The article focuses on the reporting process of the Joint Residency Advisory and Accreditation Committee (JRAAC) on the situation of the accreditation training programs in neurosurgery in Europe. Accreditation begins with a formal application from the program director. The accreditation describes the training program and teaching environment. There are no strict rules how the program is organized. The application is reviewed by two JRAAC members and presented to the JRAAC meeting.
